Have you ever donated blood??
If the answer is yes.
Then the possible question would be how many times??…………..
Can you ever imagine a man for the last 65 years have donated 1173 times and save 2.5 million babies from dying?
The great man is James Harrison, an 82-year-old from Australia
When he was 14 years old, he had to undergo a major chest surgery, for which 13 liters of blood was required. The incident moved him so much, that he took a pledge to donate as much blood as possible after he turns 18 years.
Later, he found out that his blood contains a rare antibody known as Rh (D) immune globulin, which can save the lives of children suffering from Rhesus disease. He never moved a step back to do.
It may sound unbelievable, but James has donated blood 1173 times, and his blood has saved 2.5 million babies from dying. This means that for every 3 weeks since last 64 years, he has donated blood, and saved lives.
Guinness World Records has enshrined this man forever, and he is known as the “the man with the golden arm.”
