It’s in the heart of the city between the capitol hill and congress park neighborhoods. Cheesman Park is one of Denver’s oldest parks and one that is alive with visitors every day of the year. About the Pavillion Part of the “City Beautiful” campaign at the beginning of the 20th century, the Pavilion was designed by John Humphreys and William Fisher, and completed in 1882.
